On June 26, 2024 Ludlow Rotary was proud to present their Rotarian & Honorary Rotarian of the Year Awards. As the most prestigious awards of the year, these are presented to a Rotarian & non-Rotarian community member respectively who exemplify Rotary's core value of Service Above Self.
This year the Rotarian of the Year Award was presented to Emma Jean Peabody. Emma Jean also celebrated her fifth anniversary with the club this year. Emma Jean consistently serves her club and community by quietly assisting in all club service and fundraising events. She is always available to help, and does so with a positive attitude. Emma Jean is a beloved member of our Rotary family, we cannot be more proud to present her with this well-deserved honor.
This year's Honorary Rotarian of the Year is presented to Isabel Fernandes. She is the epitome of "Service above Self." Always dedicated to the community, she tirelessly supports fundraising events, generously donating raffle items regardless of the cost. Isabel's selflessness shines through in her hard work and commitment to others, putting their needs first. A true family person and a cherished friend, her contributions and spirit make a significant impact. Isabel exemplifies what it means to serve with heart and dedication.
